Port Collar

The Hydraulic Port Collar (HPC-ND) is a cementing sleeve that provides a selective communication path inside the casing to the annulus without requiring any drill out of opening/closing plugs or seats after cementing operations are complete. The HPC-ND contains an inner sleeve that is actuated via hydraulic pressure applied to the casing string. Once the sleeve shifts into the open position, the flow ports are exposed, and cement is pumped into the annulus as per normal stage cementing operations. Once the cement is pumped away, a closing plug is launched and lands in the HPC-ND, and additional pressure is applied closing the ports/sleeve permanently.  Increasing pressure further shears the internal components out of the HPC-ND allowing them to fall to the bottom of the casing string without the need to drill out.
