Job Description

Primary Function

24 - 30 month fast-track program to become a member of the Technical Sales team once completed. Will spend required training period in an operations facility, field and office to learn the equipment, applications, business and strategy. 

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for developing and implementing account plans for all assigned accounts that support:

  • Complete all required training to work in operations facility and/or customer location.
  • Work in operations facility building, tesing or tearing down tools. 
  • Understand tool functionalities and applications.
  • Learn to perform field service & field operations and their applications.
  • Perpare, present and defend break-out presentations throughout the process.
  • Assist TAM personnel in service-related or sales issues or questions.
  • Perform general maintenance duties, either at the customer location or TAM office.
  • Perform risk-reward analysis on techniques.
  • Aid the district technical advisor as required.
  • Review technical reports, bulletins, research papers and failure, to assist in the implementation directly in the field.
  • Travel to domestic and international client or TAM locations as needed.
  • Sales Training to commence once Operations and Technical requirements are fulfilled.
  • Spend time with Sales team, make customer visits and begin leading discussions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requires minimum Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in engineering or business field from four-year college or university.  MBA is preferred. 

General Outline of Program

  • 12 - 18 months in general operations role – Broussard LA
    • Shop maintenance
    • Build, test and tear down equipment
    • Receive training and catch operational jobs, learning on location
    • Conduct break-out presentations on equipment/ applications
  • 12 - 18 months in a technical support and sales training role – Houston TX
    • Take the knowledged from operations and apply to technical challenges
    • Support Technical Advisors in equipment selection and support
    • Interact with Technical Sales and Inside Sales – Commercial strategy
    • Make customer visits and entertainment events
    • Conduct break-out presentations on applications/ strategy
