Sustainability and the Environment
TAM is committed to green building and also to providing a healthy work environment for all employees. The company recently received a LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver certification for the new construction of its manufacturing facility in Northwest Houston. It is the second LEED® Silver certification awarded to the company in the last two years. In 2013, TAM received a LEED® Silver certification for the renovation of its Sales and Marketing office which is also located in Northwest Houston. The LEED® rating system, administered through the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), is one of the leading award programs for recognizing green and sustainable construction and renovations.

Corporate Giving
TAM International contributes to the communities in which we operate by supporting an array of social, educational, environmental, and artistic organizations.

Community Involvement
Throughout the year, TAM employees generously give their time through company-sponsored volunteer events. Employees joined an assembly line to bag groceries at the Houston Food Bank. They supported the Police & Community Youth Centre (PCYC) and the Lions Clubs Kids with Disabilities in Western Australia. And they put on their running shoes for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Houston to raise money for breast cancer research.
